This time, we visited Maruki Co., Ltd., a planning wholesaler of leather that is indispensable for making Sellenatela shoes.

I was fascinated by beautiful heels and fell in love with shoes at first sight.

In the first part, I introduced the process from the design drawing to the assembly of each part. When you come this far, you can finally see the finished model.

If you have Sellenatela shoes, look around the top of the heel. Is there a small "hole" that is inconspicuous? Actually, this hole is a proof that it is handmade. It is a remnant of the craftsman's use of nails to fix the shoes to the wooden pattern when performing the work called "tsurikomi".

When deciding on the brand name, I thought of using a word that sounded like a spell, and that was the word "Sellenatela."
